✅ entering #TSMC headquarters. We got a green #semiconductor manufacturing tour through fabs. Sustainability as a roadshow. Then we visited a village that had been kindly asked to relocate for a new 2 nm fab. Cutting edges. The temple and local god had to move, too – better get the deity’s approval

Epic insights on the #semiconductor industry in #Taiwan. We’re on the second day of our workshop, with a heavy focus on walks. / The industry came to the island in the freaking 1950s. Here’s a precious IBM machine, infamously transported by horse car 🐎 because trucks were to shaky for the silicon!

I want to inform my fellow #Germans that I’m stranded in a Taiwanese train. There is a problem with the tracks. A rare instance. Never have I been better prepared for disaster
