Mapping university #data #infrastructure. Last week, we hosted a workshop with our interlocutors. This snapshot is from an analysis session, digging into details and tensions.

Using group discussions pays off. And, re: #sustainability, the university has serious structural issues.

A room with a large table lies in front of you, various A4 pages in yellow, blue and red filling the table. Chaos and structure at once. Behind the table is a glass wall separating the big room, with many notes sticking on the glass front. This is our map, annotated during the event by the actors. Transparent mapping. Behind the glass wall, a few people stand and look at the notes from behind, reflecting on the implicit structure. Far behind, there is the actual wall of the large room, with coffee etc. Waiting to be digested. Another sneak peak at the glass wall from the side, with a focus on a comic-y rendering of one note. We had splendid support by [graphicrecording.cool](https://graphicrecording.cool) &10;&10;This note says, "My house, my car, my HPC [High-Performance Cluster]", hinting at how some professors are thinking about acquiring and using high-tech infrastructure. The comic reminds of a popular ad in Germany.
